Venue & Travel > Getting to Lyon

Lyon can be easily reached from almost anywhere in the world. You can check all direct destinations on the official website of the Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport.

The Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport is just 30 minutes from the city center thanks to the Rhônexpress tramway (which runs every 15 minutes). A cheaper alternative is also available using public transportation (bus #47 + tramway T3). You can use the TCL Journey Planner to help you plan your trips.

Lyon has three main train stations, two of which are located within the city itself:

  • the Lyon Part-Dieu station located in the Business District,
  • the Lyon Perrache station located between the Bellecour main square and the Confluence neighborhood;
  • the Lyon Saint-Exupéry TGV station is the airport station, 30 minutes from the city center (see above).
